01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Poured into a glass with a foamy head that looks almost like a dark stout, the shaken cold-brew coffee is a house specialty. Situated in Fujimicho, Itabashi Ward, Cafe Yuki is an intimate coffee shop with around 4 tables, making it an easy stop when you want to take a quiet breather. Thoughtful touches such as freezing actual coffee into ice cubes for iced drinks, paired with gentle pricing across blended brews and everyday items, make it an inviting spot to drop by between neighborhood strolls or errands.

A natural companion to a cup of coffee is the coffee jelly, served with ice cream and syrup for an unpretentious balance of sweetness and roast bitterness. The menu also allows plenty of fine-tuning: you can tailor the serving temperature and brew strength for house cups like Yuki Blend or Suzu Blend, request light or dark browning on your toast, and choose from specific tea varieties. Between the Deluxe Coffee limited to 5 cups a day, iced tea brewed via siphon on the spot and chilled over ice, or honey and chocolate mousse additions for toast, you can assemble an order that suits your exact mood.

Operating hours run from 9:00 in the morning until 16:00 in the evening, with closures on Mondays and Tuesdays, and payment is cash only. As smoking is permitted inside, it is best suited to those who do not mind ambient smoke, yet it remains a reassuring retreat on days when you simply want to rest your feet over a cold sweet and a thoughtful coffee.
